Convertible Streetcars II

This photo is in an earlier posting, with my old account, so I cannot correct the incorrect caption. Very close examination indicates it is a “Z” 180th Street Crosstown, not the rare (every 45 minutes, one car) Broadway &145th Streetcar I thought it to be. Still searching for that photo. It is westbound turning from 180th Street onto Webster Avenue for the short southbound trip to Treemont Avenue where it will run west to University Avenue, including a very steep grade up from Jerome to University, which will require the operator to use full series, since parallel will trip the line-switch-breaker.

The absolute, inexcusable stupidity has manifested itself again. This stupidity prevents me from adding more photos as they are scanned to the existing Convertibles file, and may also prevent morre photos to be added to the Cumbres & Toltec file. These are all valuable photos. and I’m certain that readers will want to see and perhaps keep them

But maybe it is stupid of me to complain, since starting a new file is easy. But that doesn’t benefit the original poster as much, and I still maintain that the rule is stupid.

Thanks! More photos are on the way!

And apparently, the moderator does understanhd the situation, I think they will modify the rule. Most postings on most threads are not arguments, and most of us behave like adults. When we don’t, such lapses are obviuous and independent of repeated postings, and the moderator does take action most of the time.

Replying to allow Dave to post some more photos…

Keep them coming!
