A Kearneysville, W.Va., man who worked at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development was charged Monday morning with allegedly using counterfeit commuter train tickets at the Jefferson County train station, according to court records.
William Scott Wilson, 44, of 445 White Rock Road, was charged with fraudulent scheme and uttering, according to Jefferson County Magistrate Court records.

Wilson told police that while working at the Department of Housing and Urban Development, he used department equipment to scan an authentic MARC monthly ticket and produced counterfeit tickets using Adobe Photoshop software, Tennant said.
Only my opinion but I’d be surprised if he does any jail time. A tired judge slaps his wrist with a lectures, has him pay a fine. At worst he possibly loses his job.
Of course if he encountered one of those increasingly rare judges that still believes that crime is crime, then perhaps this schmuck may check in for a free stay at the pokey for 10 to 30 days. May even get well acquainted with “Bubba” or “Pitbull Mo”… there smiles would be hard to miss
the only think you missed whats it wouldnt be a free stay… we the tax payers get stuck “houseing” him should he end up in the big house for a “time out”…and in this case…its a double wammy to us tax payers…not only did we have to pay taxs for the commuter trains in the first place…but now that he isnt rideing the trains… we still have to pay for him to sit…
