Couple Older Shots - Seaboard System and CSX

Not too old, but some random scans I’ve done… as an aside, on the first one, this was really, really grainy, and I saved it with something called Neat Image. I used the free demo version too. For all of you who are scanning and might have made the mistake of shooting some stuff on negative film (like I did a lot) I recommend trying it.

Anyway, this is a Seaboard System GP16 at West Palm Beach, FL on January 2, 1986.

Next shot is also a scan I had to work hard on, but on this case, the color was off. Still not 100% sure I got it right, espcieally around the windshield, where it feels a bit neon to me, but any further adjustment seems to over process. This is really the problem with negative film (in this case only seven years old too). This is a CSX train led by a standard cab GE at Stanton, DE on April 18, 2003.

Last one is not a scan, but one of my earliest digital shots, and one I had to do a lot of post processing on also, as the original was really washed out. Had to pull the highlights and mid range tones way, way down to get it to look natural.

Thanks for looking and corrections are welcome… honestly just trying to fix some older images (reloading them even) as I can. That’s the amazing thing about these image editing programs.
