I want to model an SD40-2F “Redbarn” and I don’t now were to start, anyone know of any articles of kitbashing one using an Athearn SD40-2[?] Thanks!

I believe that Kaslo manufactured a kit for this engine. It is not part of their line of kits. They dids it for somebody else. Check out their website.

If there isn’t a shell for it floating around (Which I doubt, I think Kaslo did one for Van Hobbies IIRC), you could probably start from a Kaslo SD50F shell and an Athearn SD40-2 drive
