craftman kits (train station)

Does anyone know of a place (website) I can get a nice craftman kit of a train station? I am looking for a nice classic looking station, can be wood or plaster kit.

Gregg,
The scale is HO not really too concerned about sideing, could be either wood, brick or stons. It would be in a rural setting.
Thanks for the websites, I will check them out!

Try www.caboosehobbies.com

What scale do you want the station in? What type of siding, i.e., wood, brick, stone, concrete? Big City or rural? Do you want the website of the manufacturer or of a dealer selling the kit? There are literally dozens of craftsman kits for stations out there in HO, N, O, and S scales. Caboose Hobbies in Denver has a searchable website (www.caboosehobbies.com) as does Walthers (www.walthers.com) but Walthers charges MSRP for everything.

Try www.jim-inman.com for starters. He lists a lot of manufacture’s websites you can browse to see what’s out there. Another is www.valleymodeltrains.com they too list a lot of the manufactures. You’ll get a lot of good information here but still go and try and find as much to look at as you can before buying…Walt

Check out www.trainandtrooper.com they specialise in New England style modelling and list kits by several different manufacturers.

Try Valley Model Trains. They advertise in RMC and the Gazette. They specialize in structures and have a lot of good looking stations from a variety of manufacturers. Pat Hennessey is the owner; I’ve done business with him on several occasions and found him to be really friendly and helpful. The prices are very good and he charges just $5.00 for shipping.
