Especially you guys here on the West coast, My wife & I are here in Crescent City California for a small trip, and I was wondering if there’s a Hobby shop here, I hope so, because the nearest one I can think of is in Eugene Oreg!!! I’m here for two days, and I’m already needing my Nscale fix[xx(]!!! Thanks Guys and Gals!
How far are you willing to go?
The closest are, as you guessed, in Oregan, between 50-75 miles away. They are in Central Point and Medford. Increase the radius to 100 miles and you have two in Roseburg, OR, and three in Redding, CA. Either way, you have a drive. You can find the hobby shops here.

You know, I’m not sure if I envy you guys or not. At home, my wife encourages my hobby (although I’m sure she could think of a better use for the $50 a month I set aside for it [:D]).
When we’re on vacation, however, If I suggested going to a hobby shop, I think she’d kill me. Now, that may be because I have two excellent and two good hobby shops within a 45 minute drive, so there’s no reason for me to road-trip for train stuff (especially not with the Internet so easily available).
