I don’t believe in climate change.
I belive in climate change , but I don’t belive it is caused by Man or that man can do anything about it ! It’s part of the Earth’s normal cycle. Buffalo,N.Y. was covered by an ice sheet over a mile thick at least 7 times. It’s how the great lakes were formed. Gets cold for a million years and you get an ice sheet. Warm up for a million years and plants can grow again. repeat.
Saying one does not believe in climate change or climate change caused by human activity is like saying you don’t believe in science. This is not a matter politics or faith. The science of climate change - and the finding that it is being vastly accelerated by burning fossil fuels - is extremely well developed.
Mr. Simpson, telling the world the debate is over is anything but scientific. It is politics bordering on religious fervor. As I was taught in school, the scientific method allows and encourages questioning so that the theories can be tested and refined when facts (repeatable testing) dictates changes. The ‘consensus’ tries to eliminate or short circuit the scientific method.
We have maybe 150 years of objective weather observation data. If the Earth is 4 billion years old, they have 0.00000375% of possible data to “project” their theories. That’s a VERY small, laughable, sample. I don’t see geneticists using one person’s DNA to project the future of the human race.
Um, okay.
Mr Sinpson ,
Saying you belive in climate change because of scientific research is fine. Do yourself a favor and look at who is doing the study. At all these labs you will see corruption , and it is even documented thur e-mails form the schools that the most important part of global warming is to make people money. If you think man is powerful enough to change the Earth to act as you wish all I can say is STOP watching so much star trek.
