Also when I was up in Berea last Thursday on 8/13/09 that Welded rail you see on the ground, well while I was there, at the East end of the interlocking a Rail Train was parked on Track 1 headed in the direction of Westbound. So that train must of laid down the rail. I left Berea at 1 somethin in the afternoon and came back through at around 2:20PM and my understanding he was still there when we were going back through.
Foreign power on home railroad = money or HP hours owed.
Nothing is free. Foreign power on your railroad usually means you will either owe that railroad money or an equivalent return loan, or they already owe you for use of your locomotives and are paying you back.
Or, if that’s a regular run-through, UP might have wanted their power back right away, causing CSX to put their own power on the head end.
The primary rule of power assignment is to dipatch the train on time with the tonnage that is available for on time dispatchment. You use what you have available to do this. If it is home road power or foreign line power that fits the need that is what is used.
So does this mean Q390 is all one counterpart, because I heard when Q390 Terminates, it goes Eastbound, Q351 takes over heading back Westbound. So does this mean Q377 took over the UP Q351 place heading back Westbound into IL, because lately I have seen a lot of UP Power on Q377 heading Westbound on the CSX? Also, where does Q377 come from and where does he go?
q 381(bnsf) has been added into q 393 west of willard.Q 351 has been added to q387 or q389(UP) too.Hope you liked the rail trains B&O caboose.(175th anniv edition)
I didn’t get to see the caboose because I left early at berea around 1:10PM to go over to Olmsted Falls and railfan there. The NS Chicago Mainline didn’t see a Train through Olmsted Falls for and 1 hour and 50 minutes, that’s a very long wait. Also, does anyone know what city CSX Q377 starts in and what city he designates in.
