Hey yall
I want to build this remote control car as a project but dont know where to start.
I never tryed anything like this so any idea where/how I could start building it and get part for it would help alot.
Hard to tell what kind of flat car this started as, it almost looks like the bed from a coil car.

Actually they’re older V-deck pulpwood flatcars with the bulkheads cut off.
Use one of the Walthers cars.

Are my eyes tricking me or does it still sport the V-deck, rather than have it plated over for flatness?
