All of these magazines are in VERY good (not mint) condition, unless I indicated. What my question is…what are these worth as a dollar value. They belonged to my grandfather, who passed away, and they are kinda momentos. Anyhoo…I am curious. If anyone can help me out please feel free to e-mail me w/ any info to SPZOOL at AOL dot COM (w/o the spaces).
Thanks in advance!

Sean:
Old modeling magazines typically sell for 50 cents an individual issue down to a 10 cents an issue in bulk unless they have some special significance such as being a first or last issue.

1001 MODEL RAILROADING IDEAS -SPRING 1971
As an aside, I have a copy of at least one of these from 1969, AND I believe I have read somewhere in the past that this periodical was a pre-cursor to Model RailroadING magazine.
I would second what Randy said - back issues are available around here for 25 to 50 cents each, unless some sort of special edition.
A neat idea I saw the other day is to frame this memorabilia (maybe only one or two of the best preserved), especially if you and your grandfather shared some railroading memories. A reminder of the memories will be worth more than what you would get by selling them.
