Customer Service

A couple months ago I had a problem with my MRVP / Total Access account. I went to watch a video and could only get the preview. I contacted Kalmbach Customer Service and got a rather rude, unhelpful lady on the other end of the phone. She did not want to deal with the issue. She told me to just go to the website and re-subscribe.

I sent Kalmbach a note via the “Contact the Magazine” / letter to the editor route, since I wanted to let them know about my customer service experience. No reply.

So I’m putting this here because there seems to be no other way to actually get in contact with someone at Kalmbach itself.

I heard that Kalmbach outsourced their customer service. I just want someone at Kalmbach to know that, for the first time ever in my experience, their customer service was not the best.

Your issue has been brought to the attention of Customer Service.

Again, I have to emphasize: The best way to get customer service is to contact Customer Service. Call 800-533-6644 or e-mail ModelRailroader@CustomerSvc.com. Customer Service doesn’t read the Forums, and Editorial can’t fix your problems.
