Fall is a great time to do those hard ,dirty task.

Here the older track going to the High Line has been rmoved and one of the old bridge abutments has to be taken out.


Who says you can’t remove concrete roadbed.
here the plants have been pulled out and the rock face has been installed to hold the lose dirt back.


All spirea plants have been chopped off and replanted on the east back and dirt is being moved around to better hold the ballast in place.

Note:
The line is always FULLY OPERATIONAL!!![:p][:I][^]

Did you pass along the spirea clippings to your model railroad friends in the smaller scales??
