DART opens three stations on Orange Line
Amazing!
Things were different when I lived there 1974-1976.
In spite of some naysayers, DART has done a great job managing its growth without significant problems. The new Orange line will eventually open a connection to DFW airport (not long from now).
Right now the Trinity Railway Express has a shuttle bus service connecting its CentrePort station to the airport via a connection to the airport south remote parking shuttles. When the DART orange line opens to the airport, it will be a much more direct route with (as I understand it) no shuttle bus connection).
A best friend of mine in Dallas who flies a lot can’t wait for opening of service to DFW. His home is a 5-minute walk from Bachmann ststion.
Extenuation! ? So what gauge is it now?
