I just orderded a paragon reading t1 4-8-4 dc/dcc can i use my bachmann e-z comrnand controller can i use it on my new locomotive it has only 10 functions thank you walter

You can use it but you’ll only have the first 8 sound functions plus the motor and light control.

Yep, you will be fine. I used my E-Z 3 years with my BLI engines.

All the ‘good stuff’ is in the first 8 functions anyway. Unless you want your loco making city sounds, or barnyard sounds, or are too lazy to press the F2 in the proper sequence for a grade crossing whistle.
