DCS200/DT400 Digitrax Throttle Issue

This is for you Digitrax gurus out there. I had to give up my layout years ago. Since then my locomotives and Digitrax system have been in storage.

I have just now hooked them up on a test track. I have a DCS 200 with a DT400R which is tethered.

As can be seen in this photo, the power is on, track status is on, scale set to HO and mode set to run.

The settings on the DT400 are voltage 12v, loco 03. It all looks right to me. When I apply power to the track the track power dot below the right throttle is solid.

The problem is that I can’t get the throttle to respond or make any sounds emit from the DCC card (a Tsunami). The only sound I can get out of the sound card is the locomotive track idling sound. No matter what I do I can’t get the locomotive to move.

Any ideas what the problem might be?

Brian, first, welcome to the forum. Glad you’re able to get back into the hobby. Regarding your situation, given the length of time your equipment has been in storage I would suggest you first reset the decoder. Then report back and we all with continue to guide you thru this.

Regards, Chris

Had the same problem today with a DB150 and any throttle. Have 402d and 602d
Looked on Digitrax site and reset the DB150 from a video. Had sound and no movement, after reset worked as its supposed. Took about 4 minutes

Is that the address of the loco you are trying to control?
