DecoderPro and tsunami decoders

Hope you guys can help I know electrical stuff but I’m confused when it comes to computer techstuff.
I’ve installed my tsunami decoder and been running it fine but decided to fine tune the chip and bought a programmer, the ‘SPROG’. Now I’ve installed Decoderpro on the PC and hooked it up and can program ,in page mode, CV’s up to 106 but no more appear on the list, I need to access up to CV 200.

Is the information limited because I don’t have a specific Tsunami decoder profile? I selected soundtraxx DSD from the list at present. If I need a specific profile how would I get it off the net, any particular website? and just to prove I’m completely computer illiterate how do I load it into decoderpro?

Thanks Paul

Paul:

The Tsunami decoders are pretty new, you need to join the jmriusers Yahoo list and then download and install their pre-release Tsunami decoder profile files.

See: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/jmriusers/files/Decoder%20files/SoundTraxx%20decoders/

To find out how to install decoder profile files, see:

Thanks Joe I’ll give it a go I’m fine once I’ve found out how to do it, it’s just understanding some of the info at first. I’ve already downloaded the guide to decoder pro that someone wrote and it’s helped a lot but didn’t find the bits on downloading profiles. T
hanks for the links I’ll give them a go.
Nice site too.
