Deluxe Liquid Gravity - any experience?

I picked up at Milepost 38 Trains in Anaheim a product made in the UK called Deluxe Liquid Gravity. It is a granular material that is supposed to be a non-toxic lead substitute. I imagine it would be good for weighing irregular shaped equipment like tank cars, fuel tanks on locos, and such.

The instructions say to adhere it with CA or epoxy, does this work? Also, it is apparently a ferrous material-a magnet will stick on the bottle.

Has anyone had experience with Liquid Gravity and how to glue it down?

I haven’t tried it but you could probably use sand to do the same thing. I would be surprised if it isn’t painted sand like that in an hour glass or something similar.

I wish powerded tungsten was less expensive… I could then stop using lead shot in wood glue.

Why not simply use lead? There’s some info HERE on casting your own weights in lead, although non-members won’t be able to view the photos.
