I got the new Denver backdrop delivered yesterday. Thanks to Railroadbackdrops.com for their very fast service. Took 6 days to get to my door paid $244 12ft x 24". They have max size of 8ft, so they combined an 8ft and 4ft blended it for me.
I am very happy with the backdrop, much better than St Louis with half arches. You can see Coors field (where the rockies play) which is pretty cool. See the connection with Coors. This is where the railyard and Denver Union Sation will be.
I need access to that closet door so I had to mount part of it on the door so it can open. Also you can see where I have the hole cut is where the adjacent next room for the steel mill layout will be.
Looks real nice! One thing is that you may want to consider cutting off the sky (from both the Denver and the adjacent Mountain backdrops) and painting the sky a standard color to make them match a bit better. I’ve noticed that a lot of photobackdrop users like to remove the sky. I think it will really tie the different areas to get her.
You could also consider putting a big structure in the corner to hide the seam!
