I have an Hallmark HO E5A/B set that I want to super detail. Other than MicroScales decal set for the Texas Zephyr scheme, is there a detail kit for an E5 or a list of approriate details available?

Not that I know of. The demand for those would be less than the demand for the E5.
A friend of mine was assembling a list to convert a P2K E6 into an E5. There should be some overlap of the detail parts. I will see how far along he has gotten. I would think you might have to choose a specific one and begin to assemble your own list. As I recall the Burlington Route Historical Society Bulletins #10 and #13 dealt with the E5s.
I have decided my first set of E5s will be 9912A - Silver Meteor and 9912B - Silver Comet but that project is pretty far down my to do list.
Fortunately of course there is one E5 in working order at the Illinois RR Museum, which is always worth visiting
