My goal was to install KD’s on 14 cars. I reached about 1/4 of my goal. How did you do? Oh I also was supposed to work on my income tax. That didn’t go as well. I’ll have to try again during the week.
My goal was to finish my book, which I did, and spend the rest of the weekend in a burned-out haze. Writing takes a lot out of me. I did run the longest train I have been able to manage on my layout, using leased WP motive power, and clean the track (again–have to get some of that metal polish!)
I successfully put off working on my income taxes.
no goals completed on mine got my girlfriend to worry about.
No, but I sure did a lot of other stuff. Made a bunch of trees, used WS water for the first time, added clutter to my swamp, and ran three engines at once, included my brass Seirra. It was a good weekend and I can finish my mortuary later.
Yes. My objectives were to clean up the train room and run trains. Got that done and spent some time learning how to use my digital camera in manual mode.

No. Well, sort of.
Homework, yes.
Fantastic Railway Show, No. My awesome railroad buddy drove me there (50 minutes at his speed…crawl…good driver though) But I was sick and got really sick as soon as we got there, so he had (and was willing and happy to) to drive me back. Not my best day ever.
Bummer, railroadyoshi.
My goal was to begin to disassemble my track. It was a flawed design from the start, and it had come due for a rip-up. I have already relaid the line up to my mine, and it is 100% better. I have also fixed a dip on the approach to my large bridge.
Next, the outer main with at least 32" curves, maybe 34" if I can get them to look good and safe (not too near the table edge).

Put together the new Walthers open air trans- load dock. Really a nice easy kit, its a good sized kit 27in long and about 5 1/2in wide. Its based on a ATSF prototype from Cal. Painted the floors with Cream Coat paint I use their Mudstone its the best color i’ve seen for older cement, just bursh it on.
Detailed the inside to the max, 2 fork lifts lots of crates and boxes, barrels, workers, etc. You have to put alot inside this one because theres so many doors plus two long open platforms,a place this size would be open 24hrs a day in the 50’s which is what I am modeling. This kit is also a great way to show off all the trucks i’ve been buying.
No.
Nope, the weather was just to nice to be inside. My wife and I cleaned up my Trans Am from its winter hibernation, cruised around for a bit with the t-tops off, wife got cold, went to the beer store and watched the Nascar race.
Oh yeah!!!
Spent the weekend at the Timonium show, ran trains on the club layout while my girl sat at the table selling my stuff!!! It’s great to be running trains and being interrupted by the occasional "here’s some more money Dear, I just sold your________________ ! "(fill in the blank) [:D][:D]
Yup, my goal was to finnish my research on what steamer I was going to buy for excursion trips on my commuter line and then find a good deal on it.
I ended up deciding on a Bachman Spectrum 4-8-2 Mountain that I’m going to detail as Canadian Pacific Number 2900.
I picked it up along with some Walthers heavyweight passenger equipment this morning and in the end I actually saved more than I spent on the whole package.
Cheers!

Yes and no. My first goal was to create an outline for my clinic at the SER/NMRA convention this June. Mission Accomplished!
The second goal was to begin on my PowerPoint presentation for the same clinic. Well, I got a little side-tracked because I submitted 10 photos for possible publication in the 2007 Walther’s Catalog. The deadline for the contest was April 15, so I put it on the front burner. This weekend should prove more productive for goal #2. Plus I have a 4-day weekend the following weekend for Easter.
Hey, at least all of my weekend endeavors were tied to model railroading, so “it’s all good”. [^]
