Diesel headlight type info?

Hi,

I’m trying to find a listing of which models of diesel loco had which types of headlight (Mars, Gyralite, etc.) in order to program the appropriate effects into my decoders. Specifically, I’m after first-generation diesels, such as GP7s, RS-2s, etc. Googling doesn’t seem to bring up much in the way of useful info, and I’d appreciate a pointer to any information on this subject.

A lot depends on which railroad and which time period. Sometimes a different type was retrofitted, or others added, especially ditch lights. It was mostly railroad specification on the order. A vague question like yours is difficult to answer.

Ah - thanks for the clarification. I wasn’t entirely sure if this was manufacturer-specific or railroad-specific. Seems I’ve been looking in the wrong area.
