The stock tenders are a little smaller than what I have in my mind’s eye; I tried an AHM Berkshire tender and that is too tall. I have not researched tenders in many years of model railroading. What basic guidance is out there? I would do brass, if I could check to see if I knew what choices would be (visually) a good match.
Bachmann sells a variety of tenders - did you check their Web site? Check the parts section and the “new” section.
What are you looking for exactly? Many tenders pop up on Ebay. You can get a decent one from a (donor) Mehano engine.
