Direct New York-Atlantic City train service to return

Does anybody have any idea what routing they plan to use?

I don’t think that the Jersey shore line connects thru to A.C.

Perhaps they will just come on down the NEC to 30th Street Phila. and reverse back down the A.C. line.

Hi Michael,

I happen to know someone in the railroad industry who is on an advisory committee for this project. He tells me that the way it appears now is that the train will come south on the old Jersey Central line to Winslow Junction and then turn east towards Atlantic City on the old Pennsylvania Reading Seashore Lines route.

I suggested to him that many people in South Jersey (such as myself and my wife) might also like to utilize this route to head north to New York City for shows, etc., and that a big parking lot at Hammonton or Winslow Junction would help us out, and also increase overall ridership. He likes the idea and I hope it is given serious consideration.

Best wishes for a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
