Display shelf brackets.

Hi, I’m new to the forum and operate both “S” and “O” I want to get my trains out of boxes and on display when I’m not running them. Sadly, I’m limited to the amount of space, and would like to have the “S” gauge trains share the same shelf as the Lionel.

I remember a few years back a shelf bracket that would be inserted in a vertical standard that had 2 levels built into it, so you could have an uper and lower shelf on one bracket. Does anyone know where I cam purchase these? They used to run ads in CTT?

A very large variety of shelving and L brackets can be found in the shelving sections of Home Depot and Lowe’s; probably at a much better price than from a custom-made hobby joint.

I’ve used Closet Maid shelving in the past:

I have no idea where they came from, my mother gave them to me instead of throwing them out…they have rails that attach to the walls, and the bracket arm locks into slots all along the rails…the longest arms are for 12" shelving boards…the smallest is 4", I think…being in pieces, you can make the shelves any length you need…I’m thinking Wal-Mart or Westlakes would’ve been their origin
