DIY Working on the Railroad

Did anyone watch Working on the Railroad this morning on the DIY channel? They demonstrated a nice method to make water scenery/rivers. I thought it was very good, but the show is too short, they need to spend more time on the illustrations.

I didn’t even know the show existed, thanks for the pointer, now I have yet another to add to the list of recorded shows on my DVR [(-D]

Cannoli: If you go to http://www.dyi.com you can get the program schedule for future “Working on the Railroad” programs this month.

Those DIY dummies put the show on Tuesday mornings, with NO repeats outside of working hours!! GRRRR!!! [:(!]

MARK: I know what you mean…I go to bed late, like midnight, so getting up for this show at 7:30 EDST is not too much to my liking. They used to have the show on at 5:30PM which was great. I guess I will have to set the VCR to record it in the future.

DVR is really the way to go and so worth the expense. I have set it to record Tracks Ahead on PBS, Working on the Railroad on DIY Network, and I Love Toy Trains and Trains and Locomotives on RFDTV. Then I can watch them anytime I please.

Yeah, thanks for reminding me.

I thought the whole show was over since I could not find it on the regular night. I will record it.

And yes, it is too short of a program.

No luck on the schedule. Anyone able to find it.

CANNOLI: When you open the Home page for DYI.com select HOBBIES, then Model RR

Why is the hosts hair never combed on a TV show?

Actually you need the right link to diy network which is this http://www.diynetwork.com/ then click on hobbies. Some of ya should check the links you post to make sure they work.

This one should be it:

Yes, I had a typo there Milwhiawatha…small print, old eyes , can make that happen, sorry about that, and thank you for the correction for Cannoli.

It is a real shame they canceled the show, that along with R/C hobbies. Plus it only came on in the mornings the first season was about 7am EST, and the second season around 5 am.

Because my DVR isn’t full enough. Heh

Talk about restarting a dead thread. Why commit on a thread that is 5 years old about a TV show thats been a LONG time gone. Thats just plian dull.

Gotta be different i guess…

The Show has been off the air for years. I am going to lock this thread.
