My buddy Paul sold me this ready to roll Athearn for 10 bucks… It was a little beat up (missing stirrups, etc.) so I found a proto pic and weathered it accordingly.

Hey!.. you don’t see much in the way of D&M cars in HO…I commend you on the excellent weathering attempt - looks very good to me. Obviously, you’ve got some idea of how to weather freight cars - great job! This is one of those cars that Athearn really did a nice job on, for the price.
