On the BNSF, and other rail lines? Maybe close to Cleveland, and the trainfinders out that way?
Methinks you need to elucidate yer thoughts about this… I recognize that Shrek is some sort of troll, but on the referenced web page the only mention of “TRAIN” is in the Title of a reference where it says he was a “train wreck”. The only use of the word “TROLL” is also in the Title of a reference “Troll on a roll”. The only use of “RR” anywhere is in words that have a double R in them (like “cuRRent” and “miRRror”). The only use of the word “Bridge” is in reference to his crossing one.
Gimme a hint… what are you attempting to do here?
No, I don’t.
You “don’t” what?
Why, live under a bridge!
I thought we deal with RAIL roads here, not TROLL roads…
I’ve driven on the Indiana Troll Road many times in the past.[:-^]
Do railroads run over troll brridges? If I were a big old troll no railroad would never cross my brridge!
Actually, I kind of guessed that AFTER I had hit the Post button, but figured I should just leave it for you to confirm my guess work.
But, I am still left guessing what is going on here. Has someone called you a Troll, or do you consider yerself to be one? Otherwise, why would you disclaim living under a bridge?
And just fer the record… Shrek is not a “Troll”, but is an “Ogre” … an “Ogre” is: “A hideous giant of fairy tales and folklore that feeds on human beings.” A “Troll” is: “a fabled dwarf or giant of Teutonic folklore that inhabits caves or hills”. Or at least that is how my dictionary defines those words, but it was published long before the internet and the words were applied to people that post things in forums merely to cause argument and dissent.
The history of trolls is long and complex. Some have lived under bridges. Here is a link to one of a number of troll narratives: Three Billy Goats Gruff: http://www.nj.com/news/index.ssf/2013/04/train_like_a_plane_it_could_be.html#incart_m-rpt-1
Under a trestle does little to stop the rain.
In many states, bridge trolls may register to vote. A railroad bridge troll’s abode’s lack of a street address does not negate residency.
Trolls are funny people. They are not very bright when it comes to IQ. But they are both tough and resourceful. They get under that trestle and they look around for things they can nail up and use for shelter. They can find amazing stuff and nail it to the posts of a trestle and make a comfortable home for themselves. There is not much literature on railroad trolls – it is all just oral tradition – but I have heard that a clan of them will often make a home under a single trestle and then start charging trains a toll just to cross.
If a TROLL lives under a bridge, does that bridge necessarily, become a TROLL BRIDGE ? [:-^]
IF in fact, a TROLL Lives under said bridge; Thus it wold be a TROLL BRIDGE. [|(] If so, who is responsible for setting the TOLL collected by the TOLL TROLL ? [4:-)] AT That point, who is responsible for collecting TROLL’S TOLL ? [sigh] Does the TROLL then become a TOLL TROLL? [*-)]
Does the TROLL work as a self-employed TOLL TROL? Does He get to keep all the TOLL collected by himself?[oX)] Does the TROLL’s TOLL Trestle belong to the TROLL? [:#] OR. Does the TROLL who is living under the TOLL BRIDGE (Trestle) own the trestle (or Bridge).[:S] Since the TOLL TROLL is infact collecting TOLLS, Does that mean that the TOLL TROLL is now the Maintenance TROLL?[X-)] IF That is the case then the TOLL TROLL is then responsible for any problems or risks involved around the risks of using and owning the TOLL TRESTLE or Bridge. [banghead]
DOES the TOLL TROLL, who is also the Maintenance TROLL, need to become a LAWYER TROLL, as well?
There is no “toll” in “troll”. But there is “roll”.
Trolls cannot write and keep no records so we cannot know how much they do or do not collect. They are extremely elusive creatures; the are never around when police come. The tolls they collect are not much. Only enough for them to get along on. Since they demand little railroads are inclined to slip them a few bucks to go away. Often a meal from the dining car will more that satisfy a troll. Trolls are not good cooks; they eat a lot of nuts and berries and things like that. On the rare occasions they do go to a supermarket they try to get food ready to eat. They have been known to scrounge food from supermarket dumpsters. For them a dining car meal is a real treat, something they get only once in a blue moon. Give a troll a plate of New York Central lobster newberg and he will be happy for months.
And they love to get new threads…nothing is more pitiful than a thread less troll!
Eleanor Roosevelt had a miniature troll.
No trolls live under bridges as I can attest as my ex-wife is one of them.
A fair amount of them seem to have access to a computer.
I always figured trolls lived at Trollhatten and that is one of the reasons SAAB went out of business.
