The height of the black and gray paint lines on both Atlas and Rapido models differs from that of the actual locomotives, and the number cannot be printed at the top of the long hood end. The same was true for the Athern RTR model I acquired around 2004.
It seems that there are variations on the CF7 other than the shape of the cab roof. Does anyone know anything about it?
I have a 1/87.1 scale drawing of the BRW41. I think it was copied from page 84 of the November 1985 issue of RMC magazine. It was drawn by Eric Neubauer.
The top of the air vent on the products looks exactly like this drawing.
On the other hand, the photos of the prototypes, including the BRW41, look the same as my AMTK582. Some of the photos are blurry, so I can’t be sure.
I remember that I also bought the body shell from Rail Power Products and the power unit from OMI for the model.
