These are still at the beta testing stage (Firebird was release 0.7 and Firefox is 0.8) but for some reason the login fails on trains.com. I type in my user name and password but when I submit them the boxes just go blank like they are before you type anything in.
As a result I use Mozilla 1.6 on trains.com but it is a bit annoying.
Does anyone know why.
And no-one suggest that I use Internet Explorer [:(!][V][:(!][}:)][censored]
It probably has something to do with cookies being enabled. It can’t be Javascript, as I have that off and mine works just fine. I use 0.6 myself, and haven’t had any problems on Windows or Linux. shrug 0.6 does everything I need, so I haven’t bothered to upgrade to 0.8 yet.
Neil,
Since it’s still at beta test stage, why don’t you send an Email to Mozilla, describing the problem ? Perhaps it is an easy to repair bug that they can fix before the next compile. I’m not using IE either, since Earthlink is my ISP, I’m using Netscape - granted it’s not open source.

Linux prides itself as being open source. You can try to search various Linux Forums and chat areas and ask “Nicely” about your problem. Chances are someone there will help you with your problem.
Beta means to test. A trial by fire, looking for problems.
Mozilla is a proven Broswer in Linux and I like it.
