A friend came over today (hopeless train nut[:D]), and in discussing our plans for one of the soon to be built staging yards, suggested that we run trains down to the end of the basement wall. That would make the extension about 25 feet long! I was planning something shorter but this makes perfect sense. We could model it as a point south such as Colo Springs or Pueblo or continue it as the mining district. It would only be about a 15" shelf so building flats would probably be the order of the day. If we went for a town scene, we could also do some country in between and maybe some working grade crossings or water. The possibilities are great. The plan is also visible staging, of course.
Now for my question, DOES IT EVER END???[:D][:D][:D]
For the kid it ends when you realize its 4 o’clock in the morning and you have an essay due in the day!!!
haha
seriously though, it doesn’t end
when all your space is gone, you are at triple decks, you’ve already built a extension to your house justifying it as a sunroom, then you tear it down and start over
I hope it never ends. I always look foward to tommorow. Either, I can build this, or this comes out, I saved, my last quarter and I can buy that, or this dried so now I can…
Does it end when you die? ONLY the MOST HOPELESS think about if there will be trains in heaven, maybe even smaller that Z or bigger than life size?[swg][swg][swg][swg][tup][tup] I hope.[:-^][:-^]
For those with basements, time to take up tunneling skills. Everyone needs a fallout shelter. Don’t forget to stock up on duck tape. And for those in the garage, it’s time for garden railroading!!! George and the Republicans will sell of Anwar oil to the chinese so we won’t need room for cars or trucks any way.
