Dog at work

Hi modellers advice needed, what do i do next !

Best wishes,

Patrick

Don’t let the dog in the room. Keep the door closed. Train him/her not to jump on it. Get a spray bottle and put some vinager and water in it and spray him/her whenever he/she even gets near the layout. Put a leash in him/her and tie it to something solid, not the layout legs. Make a special attachment ring to the wall if you have to. Make sure you get it bolted into a stud.

Hey! I didn’t know that Godzilla had a pet pooch! [(-D] Looks like he got loose and swam all the way from Tokyo.

Well, you can sit there and marvel at how strong those couplers are. Kadees, I assume?

Or, you can tell your dog’s “trainer” that this wasn’t exactly what you had in mind.

Tell the people at the depot, that the 5:00 will be late!!!

The dog needs his own layout…

I think “Dogzilla” came out right after “Mothra”?? [:-^]

I’m thinking roll up a newspaper.

How did he get up there? He has awfully short legs.

Photoshop, maybe?

Cute picture though.

Consider yourself lucky??!!

I am 6’4, 180 lbs. He is as tall as me (when he stands up straight), has 5lbs on me, and drools in large scale, which he can propel at great speeds over long distances.

what kinda dog is he? I have husky that’s nearly as tall as me(i’m 5’7"ish) when he stands up,granted he’s not as heavy, but he’s solid muscle basically… and other than projectile drool, I envy that, mine’s a terror, he can destroy ANYTHING ANYWHERE when he gets bored… but we can’t help but love them, can we?

“Dogzilla” & “Kat Kong” came out aprox. the same time by Dav Pilkey-check out Amazon!

Basset Hounds can be quite agile (& quick for that matter)-my Mom’s could leap at least 3 ft up & 4 ft over (some foliage) if chasing a cat was involved.(I need to convert that vid to DVD so I can upload it to my myspace page sometime)

Skittles (1991-2005) 11 years old at that point & still ready to rock & roll if needed!

All in fun folks-all in fun.

He is an English Mastiff. They get bigger than him, I saw one pushing 220lbs, but he’s big enough for me. He is surprizingly quick and agile for his size. The biggest threat from him is his tail. Since its a good 28" long and “almost” as high as a grown mans waist…well, you get the picture[;)].

Sounds…painful…Tinman…but nice dog, in the small pic it looked more like Dane but a bit too big, so I had to ask… my dog’s tail is like a giant duster/broom…it’s super fluffy and when he wags it, it tends to not only knock things off…but catch the smaller lightweight things…and it’s really fun fishing for small parts in that mess…lol

Hi PATRICK here.

Thanks for all the great advice,on how to sort our dog “ERNIE” out.He is a BASSETT HOUND and weighs about 50lbs and seven years old.

The couplers are all kadee on the FINGAL RAILROAD,the stock and and locos are general mix of what i like to look at,this excerise was to try and crack putting photos onto the forum.

Thanks to all from PATRICK

My Basket Hound is name “Precious” Loosely named lol. SHes an angel and thinks she can whip the lab ( which she can) you can always tell when she has been loving on a kitty cause you get a kitty with a cowlick lol.

Seriously they can jump that high?? Back to the drawing board on layout height.

My neighbor had a Dachshund that jumped over a 40" or so fence, from a standing position, with no running start. And he did it twice in less than five minutes. I watched the whole thing.

Floor>>Chair>>Benchwork, it;s not that much. Score one for those European Hook and Loops though. The only coupler I’ve had superior ratings from.

hey that a geat picture it reminds me of the two dashounds i got .they whine when i go into layout room and they hate it when i blow the whistles . i one had one of them hide one of my cars behind our sofa,
