At the last show we had a Blackstone Narrow Gauge steam engine working the layout and the radio throttle I had at the time either failed to talk to the engine or something went missing. Anyhoo… I spoke the words of warning “I aint got it no more” as the engine gently shoved two flatcars into the sawmill pond as I spun the wheel uselessly to full stop.
You could not make up the appearance of the wrecked flatcars, it was totally true to life, only that they were models in narrow gauge.
Yep, that works. I don’t have derailments on my layout, I think the last one I had was probably over two years ago. I guess it depends on the size of your layout to how comfortable you are running more then two trains on one throttle. For me its no big deal even though I have 3 DT400’s, a DT300 and my Zephyr.
