DVD recomendations

As the topis says. Do anyone of you have any DVD recomendations about trains. Preferably about the B&O and steam. DM&IR is also a intresting railroad but just about anything goes.

Thanks Magnus

Can’t say I’ve seen those specific videos, but a good place to start would be the public library. If you find something you like you can then track it down and buy. Most of the railfan or model mags have listings as does the Walthers catalog, etc. Hope that helps. J.R.

Try, greenfrog.com

A friend recently gave me Great American Scenic Railroads, a 6-dvd set published by an outfit called Questar. Each DVD has two segments of about an hour. 8 segments are diesels, 4 are steam, such as the Durango & Silverton and the Cumbres & Toltec scenic railroads. Kind of repetetive, but sometimes that’s good!

Here’s a link to it:https://secure.questar1.com/catalog/QD3372.htmlfor $59.99. Dunno if you can find it cheaper elsewhere.

They have some other railroad DVDs, too, in the Travel & Touring section. (Note the “search” function on their home page doesn’t seem to work.)
