Does anyone know how to make the light board shorter. I have the old bachmann spectrum short passenger cars and the boards wont fit.
How much shorter do you need for them to be? You can’t cut more than about 1/8 inch off each end without getting into the electronics and destroying them.
I was able to cut down the standard Easy Peasy to fit an Athearn heavyweight.
Luckily they now have a shortie version.

I’ve shortened several of them, You can take as much as you want out of the clear plastic in the middle as long as you don’t cut the wires. You end up with two halves wired together. I used velcro dot sets to mount the halves to the car and the same with the excess wire. I used an xacto saw blade to cut mine.
