There is a Kid’s style Elmer’s Glue made in Gel Form. It is light in color and has no smell that I could tell.

I used it to glue loose “shot” weights into nooks and crannys on some of my flats until they reached the weight they needed to be.

12 hours later they were pretty dry and took paint rather easily.

I wish I tried this tatic instead of Walthers Goo long ago. It saves on the odors.

Thanks for that tip, you say it is light in color…what color is it?

The bottle makes the liquid appear blue. But when I place a drop to secure coupler covers “VERY” lightly they appear clear.
