Engines marked HLCX

I’ve been watching the UP Bailey Yard video, and have noticed a number of engines with HLCX on their sides. I’m assuming they’re on a storage track, because I’ve never seen one active in the yard. Can anyone tell me what “HLCX” stands for?

HLCX is one of the reporting marks utilized by Helm Financial Corporation, which provides operating leases of motive power and rolling stock. Both long and short term leases are offered.

that’s funny! My last name is Helm.

OK, Money Bag, Mr. Helm … (Just kidding)

Technically, the NON-railroad “Helm Leasing Company,” that is where the “X” comes in.

As UPRR disposes of their " Surplus" Locomotives {for whatever reasons the power is deemed to be surplus]…Helm Financial can be a customer who purchases that power… Former UPRR power is put into HLCX’s power leasing program…already being in UPRR’s colors and available, UPRR could also be a customer for HLCX power.

There is an HLCX/ UPRR power set that runs from the Wellington Ks area to Wichita on BNSF trackage rights in the afternoons… It could either come off the UPR’s OKT sub at Wellington, or off the BNGRR [that is the Blackwell Northern Gateway RR) at Wellington (?).

The HLCX units I see on the Bailey yardcam are all a uniform dark burgundy color, with the exception of one unit, which is mostly dark burgundy except for the cab, which is painted bright blue
