Espee MT-4s

The few proto photos that I’ve seen of SP MT-4s showed them in passenger service. I have four questions regarding these machines: 1. Did they ever seen freight service as well? 2. Were any of them still running when SP ran out their first Geeps and SDs? 3. If they ran concurrently, would all of those last Mountains had the Skyline fairings? 4. Did any MT-4s ever make it to Oregon?

The Church book has a pic of an MT-4 on freight near Lathrop. There are pics of MT-4s in Oregon, and that book shows a few MT-4s that were assigned to the Portland Div.
