Estate Books of CPR Engineer and superheater inventor A.W Horsey

Pretty interesting story here. I purchased from an estate a collection of books owned by A.W Horsey who seems to be a pretty important person in the Railway. horsey along with Vaughn invented the Superheater which was called Vaughn-Horsey superheater or VH superheater. These books have his signature in many places, a bit of doodling a couple of pages of mathematical equations diagrams and pictures (could be doodling of the superheater).

some of the books are 1911 locomotives vulcan iron works, 1893 Treatise on Gears, 1920 Valve Settings, 1905 Plumbers and fitters pocketbook and many more.

I find it very interesting I wonder if anyone else does too.

I don’t know a whole lot about trains so was hoping for a bit of feedback

It sounds like you hit the Mother Lode! If there’s any rail museums in your area that do steam locomotive restorations I’m sure they’d be very interested in what you’ve got.
