If you could revive any fallen flag, which one would it be?
Mine would be the Grand Trunk in Canada…not as a subsidiary of CN.

Conrail!
Erie Lackawanna and Monon. When you grew up only two blocks from their line, it’s hard not to want to revive them.
Chesie System unless I can revive some berkshire locomotives then the Nickel Plate.
stay safe

The GREEN BAY AND WESTERN
The Milwaukee Road, Chicago & Northwestern, and bring back just plain Burlington Northern…something about the green black & white locos…didn’t mind the exec. green & cream scheme either…can’t stand the Pumpkin II, er Heritage II scheme
#1—The WESTERN PACIFIC
#2—The DENVER & RIO GRANDE WESTERN
#3—The CHICAGO, BURLINGTON & QUINCY
----or in other words the original host railroads of the real CALIFORNIA ZEPHYR!!!
Bring back by Santa Fe and the Great Northern as two separate roads.
Seven choices, in order of prenerence:
I vote for the Burlington Northern.
It was a very nice paint scheme.
Cascade Green, Black and White.
I wonder who thought the BNSF was a nice paint sheme?
Also the Great Northen would be nice with the Big Sky Blue and Gray and White.
Mark In Texas
the NYC
I’d make GTW-CN go back to their green/ yellow maple leaf days.
I’d put Wabash + NKP + L&N to have a strong midwestern rr with a good link to southeast & gulf ports. The Floridian would link midwest to Florida via Atlanta.
Pan American to run New York-Nashville-New Orleans (mexico).
Daily broadcast of train sounds from WSM radio tower.
D&RGW would run a daily Rio Grande Zephyr
The Pennsy!!! second Lehigh Valley
Erie Lackawanna. To see the crews cutting-back brush, filling-in gaps, dropping
ballast and laying track between Preble and Decatur, IN, would be the day I know I made it to Heaven.
