what is your favorite railroad paint scheme
Mine is the Wisconsin and Southern, the Red and Gray just seem to go together so well. You can see photos at the company’s website: www.wsorrailroad.com

Always partial to Wabash Bluebird…but hey how about ICG solid orange.
Mopac solid blue w/ the buuzzsaw logo
BN & BNSF & Chessy System.
Oviously, I’m going to have to go w/ CSX’s latest and greatest paint scheme Dark Future. I like Bright Future too and Chessie System Paint. I also like Conrail’s paint on their SD80MACs NICE I don’t like Guilford’s paint. I have other paint schemes I don’t like but thats too much to type.
What would you the CSXT’s Dark Future Paint job,CSXT part 2?
Santa Fe all the way - The Warbonnet passenger livery was just 100% class and an icon of American railroading! (What were BNSF thinking of in changing the most recognised livery in the world???).
Happy New Year to everyone across the ‘pond’ from England!

The Erie Lackawanna’s gray, maroon and yellow is my favorite. The Algoma Central was very similar. Joe G.
I think tha tthe Santa Fe warebonet (the Silver and red) is one of the best paint schemes out there.
(1) Santa fe Passenger Warbonnet
(2) GN Orange and Green Scheme with dulux gold lettering
(3) NYC Lightning Stripes
(4) CPR Maroon & Gray
(5) SP Daylight
(6) NP 1954 Passenger Scheme
(7) IC Brown & Orange
(8) CRI&P Passenger units
(9) D&RGW yellow and Black
(10) CN Green Black & Gold
As far as being just plain pretty… New England Central is very nice. I like the old B&O three tone blue scheme. MP was great in it’s simplicity. Illinois Terminal was very colorful, as was MKT.

depends on your geography. i grew up in the deep south, not in california.
i liked all three paint schemes of the seaboard air line–one for passenger units,
another freight, and third for yard power. i don’t like just plain black and white.

SF War Bonnet on a POLISHED E7 YEA!!!
mine is the blue comet,
- The Rock Island Line '70’s red and yellow diesel loco’s
- Their blue and white late '70’s “The Rock” was pretty cool, too.
- BNSF mid/late '90’s loco’s
My favorite paint scheme is Union Pacific #3300’s red white & blue scheme. My least favorite paint scheme is the EJ&E’s 750, 751, and 752.

I think it looks like something a person would wear. no offense.
BNSF baby they may have changed the colors of the warbonnet but it still looks nice.
Uncle Pete waving “Old Glory” sure looks nice too.
