Hello there

TGIF!!!..finally. Seemed like this week would never be over.

Crashed on the couch while surfing the bay. Now I’m awake. Mrs & I went to endochronologist Wednesday. Mrs is doing fine. Me, not so much. Didn’t gain any weight but A1C rose to 7.1. I’m now officially diabetic. Doc added Juardiace (spelling) to my Victoza and wants to start me on PCSK9 Inhibitor for triglycerides. I’ve done a liitle research on it and I’m not sure I want to try it. The statin drugs make me ache all over like I’ve got the flu. This new stuff is statin on steroids. Plus it can cause “cognitive impairment” something I really don’t need. Any of you know about it?

Kev…good luck with the cat.

No train news. Considering a trip to Greenberg in Monroeville next weekend. May putz with my 259E after Christmas is put away.

Think I’m gonna try to sleep

Prayers for those in need

Kevin probably Pink to remember the Famingo’s he had to leave behind. [(-D]

Good evening all,

Good day at work. Pain one was gone so pain two was quiet. Cold day walking. Watched TV tonight. Got MR and Trains today. There are many reasons to be on this forum and one of them is the interesting stories we share. Kevin, the one about the cat is one of the better ones. Glad it is turning out well. Got a thank you email from my Norwegian soccer friend. Always good to hear from her. I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Mike C. from Indiana

Evening all!

Back from a business trip to Florida. Will have to catch up later.

RT, did not receive your email. can you PM me ? Thanks

Mornin’ boys. Sunny & 22 (a cold 22) along the Patterson Creek cut-off. Probably grocery shop today, as my queen has returned to her castle. After being gone a whole week, she was impressed that FEMA didn’t have to be called in (actually, they packed up and left Thursday). Her brother is doing better, and should be moved from ICU already.

KRM - Sherwin Williams skyview blue. No progress shots, sorry. Everything kinda piled up in the center of the room anyway.

Banks - Time to shed some pounds. Best get down here and hike the C&O with me.

Morning all. Sunny but chilly 35 degrees. Warming trend through Wed. May hit 70 by then.

Inside chores and some cooking. Then train box for a few.

KEV, glad the cat is getting better.

Have a good one.

Bright sun and 30 today. About an inch of snow still on the ground.

A toy train night with some of the fellers. Two groups getting together. The D3Rs and the modular group at a refurbished theater that still has it’s original organ. Someone is suppose to be there that knows how to play it. Should be fun.

Good afternoon all, quiet day here. Went to visit wife in her facility but my younger son was too sick to go with me today. He’s getting over a cold. still nursing my sore spot caused by my lower denture but it’s getting better.

Might run some trains later if the spirit moves me.

Ray

OleTimer - was up there last month with Wifey. Bridge is now part of the Great Alleghany Passage.

Hi guys,

RT here is the : Cat report.

He is recovering okay they have him hooked up on IVs and are pumping him with antibiotics he has yet to eat they’re going to try to get him to start eating tomorrow I think they’re going to just start with drinking first he probably won’t be home til Tuesday. Grand-kids got a pass on this one. I am sure he does not have nine lives anymore. [swg]

Beer is tasting good. [B]

Sanded all three ALCO shells and a light repaint on them, They look way better. I just knocked off the wrinkles that got there on the first coat as it lifted from the sandblasting. Wife did a cleaning thing in my den. Looks good. I would never do it. [(-D]

Have a good night!

Sun. 65/50 Mon. 63/50 and rain all day.

Tonight was the last service in the old sanctuary for me at Shepherd. Next Sat. we are in the new church and the 2 services we had on Sat. will now be one so twice as many people.

I always get there real early as I have friends and also they have cheese nachos that are delicious. But the new church has a coffee shop so I plan to go real early and eat my evening meal at the cafe plus the nachos plus conversation with friends.

So I should get a good parking place no trouble but we will see. This is all going to be very new and exciting.

Good evening all,

Not much going on today. I helped sweep the floors. Watched a Premiere League match. I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Hut-1, Hut-2 boys. Cloudy and 34 along the Patterson Creek cut-off. Not sure what’s on my itinerary, perhaps a hike. As for my interest in the superbowl, Daytona is in 21 days… But I’ll watch it, unless there is a good documentary on hamster farming on during the same time slot.

Morning all. Pretty bad when lot have little if any interest in Super Bowl any more. No real news here for today. 41* and raising to 61 they say.

Prayers for al in need. Talk to you all later

Cloudy and 30s today.

I don’t care who wins the Super Bowl as long as my squares win, so I’ll be watching.
