Nice video Thanks for sharing.
Very nice camera work. In the second you mentioned you thought others might think you’re crazy for standing in the rain like that … I can remember, on more than one occasion, standing outside for hours at night time, under driving rain, to watch the SP Magma turn local switch out the busy east end of the Mesa yard. So, being crazy is a part of the game - I wouldn’t trade those experiences for anything.
Ted,
That was a very good video ,I might suggest that you speed the shutter up,it looked a little fuzzy or out of focus…not much but just enough to be noticible…Thanks for sharing…
Loved your intro, narration and ending !
Thanks for the kind words, guys. I’ve been having a lot of fun shooting video and sharing them with other railfans, especially those who are interested with FEC and their operations. It seems that my Youtube videos are becoming popular. I already have 25 subscribers and the list is growing. I would really like to upgrade my equipment for better results, but it’s not in the family budget. Only a windfall of money will help me on that. Until that day comes I’ll be using the same 'ol point-n-click camera.
I use a simple Canon A540 Powershot digital camera in Video mode with a standard 2GB SD card. As far as I know, shutter speed is automatic only. I guess I oughta break out the user’s manual and see for sure.
