That looks great. You have done an amazing amount of work in two weeks.
In the first picture, I thought I was looking at a military cemetery.

No need at all to apologize for the pictures. They very nicely show the building going up.
Hooray for you!! And the layout building!!
I’ll be snoopy and ask for the building dimensions.
Ed
I can understand why that would be.
The building is 24’ by 40’. I t will be divided into a 20X24 layout and a 20X24 woodshop/train workshop.
With the current price of lumber I wonder how much more expensive it was to build vs. a couple years ago.
As for the size, I’d be tempted to steal so of the workshop space to make the train room bigger!
BTW, I am planning to loosely model Grand Junction and some scenes to the west on a layout I am presently building that is 33x15 feet.
Basically it cost me insulation and drywall for the whole project that will have to be done a little at a time now as cash allows. But at least the building is up.
Looks like the layout is coming along nicely!
I wish I could work that fast, good job!
And I still like the car.

Thanks. Got to replace the starter this weekend. The bendix quit working. Not bad thought the first starter in 25 Years.
Can’t wait to see it up and running! Keep us updated. [:)]
Hi DRGWGJCO,
Congratulations!! Pretty quick work too.
Do you have a track plan? I’d be interested in seeing it.
I designed an HO layout for my old club that was 20’ x 25’. It was a bit of a challenge to get things that we wanted into the plan. For example, we wanted 36" curves but the space only allowed for 32". We also wanted long spurs but only a few of the spurs or sidings could hold more than 8-10 cars. That was a major weakness in the design.
Cheers!!
