Amazing attention to detail in the weathering. How did you simulate the exhaust from the engines? Great job!

Nice video and great looking locos. I like your rockwork also. And by all means, how did you do the exhaust?

I agreem the exhaust was my favotire part.

Awesome Video! You have some great weathering techniques and video editing! Great Job and keep up with the work!

Very nice detailing and special effects. The smoke and sound enhance the video very nicely.

For smoke efects I use program Particle Illusion 3.0.

Great job on the modelling.
Also ask about the smoke effect.
What does the rest of the layout look like?

I loved it - the U boats were pulling a South Branch Valley boxcar, which is (sorta) the short line I model, then 2 more cars back a Port Huron & Detroit boxcar, and my sister lives in Port H! Neither of those really “belong” in the southern Rockies, but who’s to say they wouldn’t end up in the consist? I have the exact same cars on my N-scale layout.

my wife though i was watching a real train. just starting in the hobby. I’ve got a long way to go, lots to look forward to.

real amazing sound! where did you get it?

real amazing sound! where did you get it?

Awesome scenery and the sound is the best I have heard. Everyone is going to want to know how you simulated the exhaust! Great work.

Final sound is compilation of several real sound clips and editing in multitrack sound software.

Absolutely MAGNIFICENT-!!!
The granite shear-rock, the landscape (including one dead tree) the trackside work, the engine and rollingstock WEATHERING ARE GREAT-! And the smoke and sounding overdubbing were really done well. JUST like a real railroad, and I grew up on the C&NW main line. Thanks for filming this.

Excellent smoke effects! Very nice weathering, and great perspective on the shots. No"helicopter shots" makes it even more believeable.

If I didn’t know better, I’d swear I was looking at a video of a full size train. That has got to be one of the best videos I have seen yet. How did you get the genuine looking diesel smoke? That is totally amazing.

Spectacular modeling & videography! I felt like I was trackside. Congratulations on a superb job!

Cool effects-very cool! Great scenery, sound, and detail. Thanks for sharing!

Truly outstanding. Congratulations!
Looking forward to more. You are an inspiration for all of us.
