“OK” Here goes folks, thanks to FundyNorthern I think I figured out how to post a picture (hope this works and pardon my lack of camera skills) and also this was my first attempt at weathering a couple of Steam Engines so I would welcome any constructive criticism on that as well.

The only suggestion I have would be to place a larger photo on Photobucket so we can enlarge your photo - try 800 pixels wide. That way we can really see what you’ve done.

looks good…but I would also like to see a larger picture
It looks very good. FundyNorthern is right, the pictures would be easier to view if they were set for 800 pixels wide on your computer. And are those Bachmann steamers?
Honestly, I wouldn’t have known that those steamers were the first ones you have weathered. They look very good.

That weathering looks GREAT! What kind of turntable is that? I’m looking for one to use with the Atlas 3 stall roundhouse kit. I don’t like the Atlas turn table. I’d like to find a resest one that will work but I’m not up for paying $300.

If you want a turntable for less than $300, you might have to build one from scratch. If you decide you will spend $300 than Bowser makes a turntable and turntable detailing kit. http://bowser-trains.com/ho_turntables.php
The foreground engine is a Bachmann Prairie (Cheap model) and the other engine is
a Mantua Big Six. Neather of them run worth a hoot but they look good in the engine repair area. The turntable is a Walthers 90’ kit, not very spendy but it has worked fine
so for, I have to line up the tracks by eye and that has worked OK.

Excellent weather job on those locos!!
Harvey, looks like you do fine work. You must have had a lot of fun.
By the way, my 90’er gave me fits. Did you have problems with bridge axle wobble, or any binding…assuming you motorized it? If so, how did you cure the problem?
Crandell, sorry I didn’t get back to you sooner but I have been out of town, yes my turntable is motorized and I have had some binding at one point but it does not come in to play with the location of my roundhouse as I can go clockwise and then counter clock-
wise and not have to deal with it. (Hope you followed that)

Very cool! The “how to” on adding a motor to the manual turntable looks and sounds like a real challenge. Boy, am I glad I don’t have room for a turntable!!!
I’ve heard that Walthers is going to introduce a 90’er that is prebuilt and indexed like the 130’er. I’m guessing the price won’t be much different; maybe $30.
