One tip in regards to flex track…use the connectors to join 2 pieces of flex track then solder them together…if you solder them first then when you curve them they won’t kink…kinks stink and cause the worst model railroaders headaches in the world…also make sure to line up flex track in same direction before soldering…(sliding rail to the same side for all pieces)…you can solder as many pieces as necessary together before laying track…although usually only need 2 or 3 since that is all that fits between switch points…
