Foreign Motive Power on BNSF Racetrack

This is for all my Illinois BNSF fans:

What types of foreign motive power do you see on BNSF freights from Chicago to Aurora? This would not include lease units. Also, does any other railroad have trackage rights on this line?

I believe U.P. still has trackage rights on the racetrack here that they aquired when they bought S.P., which has long had at least one daily train in each direction and is now handled frequently by straight U.P. power and is usually a hot intermodal. We also see some of the U.P trains go south on the EJ&E to avoid the congestion of Chicago.

Frankly, we see power from just about every imaginable road here from time to time but the most fequently seen are:

NS
CSX
CN
CP
UP
And lots and lots of leasers of just about every outfit you can imagine.

Don’t forget TFM and Amtrak

Foreign, eh? Anything British?[:P]

Still see Conrail units when I tune into the Ft. Madison webcam. [:o)]

Does anyone remember the article in TRAINS when Southern Pacific grey and red was rolling in the Swiss Alps as the Krauss-Maffei diesel-hydraulics were tested? How’s that for foreign power?[:P][:P]

IHB power turns up periodically between Congress Park and Clyde on transfers.
