Future of DIY show?

Another thread was asking about when the DIY Network would be making new epsiodes of Working on the Railroad. So I emailed them and the response is kind of puzzling:

In response to your inquiry, Workin’ On The Railroad is not currently on our list for any new episodes through 1st Quarter (end of March). Since we only receive Quarterly information, you may want to check back with us in upcoming 2nd Quarter in April to see if there are any new episodes expected at that time.

I am assuming by them saying “not currently on our list” that means they haven’t been produced yet. So the earliest they will begin production could be April? I am not sure. But I did want to let everyone know not to expect new shows in the foreseeable future! Sorry I had to be the barer of bad news!!

That sounds about right. As far as I could tell, the season was 13 weeks. If they are going to produce a new batch, I wouldn’t expect them to air until next fall, so they have a while before anything needs to be done.

Keep in mind that for most people model railroading is a seasonal thing, and with the exception of garden types it is done indoors during the cold and dark season.
