A white control stand?
I wish it were on my bucket list so that with a flourish i could cross it off
I can not recall a control stand that was painted other than black or a color close to black.
Now i’ve seen (almost) everything…

I remember Dash 7’s. There used to be a lot of them running in my neck of the woods 30 years ago, then suddenly they all went away. Many years ago, Ed King wrote a great piece for Trains entitled “Up the Creek in a Leaky U-Boat”. For those not old enough to remember, I’ll just say it was good for a lot of laughs…Oddly enough, I still see plenty of GP40-2’s, SD40-2’s, and as-built and rebuilt GP7’s & 9’s on a daily basis. May 2-stroke 567’s and 645’s still be running en masse 30 years from now. Unintended consequence: EPA’s over-the-top Tier 4 regs may see to it that such is the case.

Maybe memory plays tricks, but I think that the late model engines on the CN had control stands that were painted brown to match the rest of the cab interior. I am referring to the engines with the conventional controls that came after the knee knockers were got rid of. I fondly remember the 5600 and 5700 series GMs with their quite cabs. Great to work with!
