I am interested to see how they are meeting tier 4. If EMD uses Cat technology I bet GE’s wkll definitely be more fuel efficient.
Saw this locomotive & test car in a manifest train through Deshler Oct. 1, 2013.
The BNSF consist pass Palmer Lake, CO, Sunday 10-6-2013 in the late afternoon.
#1: I hope their tier 4 technology works out better than other’s did in the heavy truck industry.
#2: I REALLY hope they can devise better looking radiator packaging for the production models. That one looks as if there is a carport resting on the rear of the locomotive!
The only item missing is the ConRail logo!
